What’s in a name?

Air way bill? Airway bill? Air waybill? No, AirWayBill.
Our company’s name is more than just what we call ourselves, it is our brand, it is our identity, it is our reputation.
That is why we have decided to set the record straight once and for all. We are not a shipping company, or a courier service; we do not ship packages and parcels; we do not give you a printed receipt of your transaction; we simply empower people to bridge the gap and beat the distance.
So AirWayBill?
AirWayBill – yes, that’s one word with a capital A, W, and B – is a peer-to-peer shipping and shopping platform that helps connect and match shippers and shoppers with travelers all around the world through our mobile application.
We have our headquarters in Madrid, Spain and follow strict European regulations which have been put in place to best protect our community members. Our app was conceived at Silicon Valley by the best programmers in the business, to give our users the best and easiest experience, and ensure accurate and error-free transactions every time.
So we do not ship packages or any sealed items, only items that can be inspected and checked are allowed on the app, in order to ensure the safety of our travelers.
We do not send you printed receipts, but we will send you through the app a proof of the shipment and a means of communicating with our travelers so you can be updated with your shipment, as well as other safety measures like our confirmation code and privacy policy that will keep your contact details safe, and ensure that your item is delivered to you.
Lastly, we are not a shipping or courier service, we are game changers who are transforming the traditional shipping industry, to give you faster service, access to unreachable items and more affordable shipping fees through our mobile application.
So what is the other air waybill?
Air waybill means air flight policy, or a document that proves a contract of carriage which is different from the AirWayBill app. Our app doesn’t actually sell anything, but instead we link travelers to shippers and shoppers who want items delivered or bought for them.
So for those whom we have often received complaints and messages inquiring about packages that were sent to them by unknown conventional courier services companies, which they need to pay a considerable amount for in order for them to claim it, that wasn’t actually sent through us at AirWayBill. We recommend you read our blog about ways to avoid online scams, and do take care and report any incident to your local police.
